1. what is Presidents Day ? Presidents day is called that because as you may know George Washington was the first president of  all time so they celebrate his birthday which pretty much its called Presidents Day .  

 

2. What is the purpose of Presidents Day ? The purpose of Presidents day is that during the debate on the bill it was proposed that Washington’s birthday be renamed President’s Day  to honour the birthdays of both Washington and Lincoln even though in other states they celebrate lincolns birthday instead .

 

3.When is it ? Its always on the third  Monday of February .

 

4.What are a few ways to show honor and respect on Presidents  Day   ? Some schools in the  world don’t get to go to school , some people even sale things because it’s a popular day .
