Veterans Day is an official United States holiday that honor people who have served in the U.S Armed Forces, also known as veterans. It is a federal holiday that is observed on November 11. It coincides with other holidays such as Armistice Day, and Remembrance Day, which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I were formally ended at the 11^th month 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect). The United States also originally  observed Armistice Day ; it then  evolved into the current Veterans Day holiday in 1954.

                                        

Reflection : My thoughts about veterans day are that thanks to the army we  have the freedom we  have . Thanks to them  we can feel safe in our country . They risk there lifes for our freedom and others peoples  life . I feel that we need more people like that in our lifes , we need to recognize each and one of them because if what there doing for all of us and not just the country or states . They should take a heros place .
