What this quote is trying to say is that if you don’t have a good character meaning personality  you really aren’t anything because you  don’t have character . Character meaning your always choosing the right doing what’s best for you and your surroundings always thinking positive and doing positive things , doing and saying what’s right . Character describes the type of person you are and how responsibly you are , how well you treat others and how you care for others or at least yourself . Not having good character will stop you sometimes from achieving your goals for example having bad character is when your really do and you always do bad stuff. Having good character is being respectful accepting things the way there suppose to be .
